[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Born under the initiative of Monsieur Jean-Pierre CLAVIE in 1995, PERLES DE GASCOGNE is a family-run business located in the heart of Southwest France, 40 km from Agen, a town famous for its prunes.

The business began with the production of virgin hazelnut oil, followed in 2001 by the creation of the company’s flagship product: prune kernel oil. As early as 2002, this innovative oil was rewarded for its nutritional qualities: it was awarded the Grand Prix for Innovation at the SIAL food fair.
In 2005, PERLES DE GASCOGNE received the Hubert Curien prize for its technological performance and its contribution to sustainable development (recycling and processing of by-products).
The year 2008 marked a turning point in the company’s development with the retirement of its founder. Taken over by Nathalie BARRERE, Jean-Pierre CLAVIE’s daughter, and Christophe MERLE, one of his sons-in-law, PERLES DE GASCOGNE remains in the hands of the family.
