Prune flower illustrating the making of the Perles de Gascogne prune kernel oil The prune kernel powder is obtained by grinding the shells of Ente plum stones, which are cultivated in south west France to produce Pruneaux d’Agen (Agen prunes).

The prune stone shell from which the product originates has the double advantage of being in contact with both the seed and the pulp, which gives it an exceptional richness of aroma.

It is available in three different grain sizes:

  • <300µm
  • 300 to 500µm
  • 500 to 800µm.

Prune stone powder is a new cosmetic product.

It is a totally natural product whose manufacturing process is controlled by the Perles de Gascogne company. Widely recognised for its effectiveness, the prune stone powder can be used to replace other plant-extract exfoliating powders, (apricot, grape seed, strawberry seed, …)

It is obtained by a mechanical micronisation process.

It is sterilised using an autoclave and comes in three grain sizes:

  • <300µm
  • 300 to 500µm
  • 500 to 800µm.

Prune stone powder is vacuum-packed for preservation.
